Aashapali is related with Aashabhil. Leader of Bhil or king of 6 lakh bhils, Aashbhil
the ancient city aashaval on the eastern side of Sabarmati . Kalico mill, Jamalpur
and Aaastodia paldi of current AHMEDABAD were area of that city. According to Aarab
historian Aashaval was the beautiful city with good population and also a productive
and wealthy city of 9th and 10th century. It was a third big city of ancient Gujarat
following Patan and the famous port Khambhat.
